Capt. Eugene has been fishing the waters of the Southport-Oak Island area since 1996.He is a U S Coast Guard licensed captain and very knowledgeable of the area. While a lot of his time is spent trolling the offshore waters in search of Wahoo, Dolphin, Yellowfin Tuna or King Mackerel, he also enjoys hitting the bottom for Grouper, Snapper and Black Sea Bass. If you feel that you’re not quite ready for the Bluewater experience and would like to fish closer to shore, he is always happy to take you trolling for Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish or King Mackerel along our beautiful beaches. During the winter months, Capt. Eugene and his crew set out in search of the giant Blue Fin Tuna that inhabit our waters no more than 20 miles offshore. They range in size from 200-600 lbs.. |
